Madakaripura Waterfall, Probolinggo, East Java, Indonesia
As a part of Bromo Tengger Semeru National Park, Madakaripura Waterfall is one of the top destinations to go in East Java.

You can reach this waterfall either from Malang Regency or Probolinggo. It is suitable as a one day trip if you live or stay in nearby cities like Surabaya or Malang.

However, if this is you first time, please be aware of irresponsible local people who act as if they are the tourism official there. They might forcely charge you with something you don't need. However, think of it as a donation and don't let it ruin your mood to enjoy this beautiful nature.

Sipiso-Piso Waterfall, North Sumatra, Indonesia

With its height of 120 metres, Sipiso-Piso Waterfall is one of the highest waterfalls in Indonesia.

The name of this waterfall has a unique meaning. Sipiso-Piso comes from piso which means pisau in Bahasa (knife in English). It's been said that the water falls so hard as if it cuts through like a sharp knife.

Located in Karo Regency, this waterfall can be reached from the Capital City of North Sumatra, Medan, in about 2 hours by car or bus.

Dengan ketinggian 120 meter, Air Terjun Sipiso-Piso adalah salah satu air terjun tertinggi di Indonesia.

Nama air terjun ini memiliki makna yang khas. Sipiso-Piso berasal dari kata piso yang berarti pisau. Derasnya air yang jatuh diumpamakan seperti pisau yang tajam.
